The Swamp Fox Contest Group was formed on January 8th, 2014. Initially, a meeting was arranged by Dave, NJ4F for the purpose of discussing the formation of a new contesting club. A constitution was drafted, edited and voted on. It was decided that new members must be active in contesting. It was also decided that all new members will be voted into the club.
It was decided that four officers would be assigned by vote of current members on an annual basis, a President, a Vice President, A Treasurer, and a Secretary. The founding members voted and appointed the following officers: President, Dave NJ4F, Vice President, Frank KG4IGC, Treasurer, Ted K7OM and Secretary, Mark KM4RK. It was discussed that we become affiliated with the ARRL, of which we are now a duly affiliated society .
